Introducing CO-OP Shared Branching

Leominster Employees Federal Credit Union is now a member of the CO-OP Shared Branching Network. Shared Branching is a national network of Credit Unions with more than 5,000 branch locations. Members of participating Credit Unions can conduct everyday banking transactions at any participating Credit Union location.

Services at Shared Branch locations include:

  • Account Inquiries
  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals
  • Loan Payments
  • Transfers between Accounts
  • Transfers between Shared Branching Credit Unions

Note: Services may vary by location. Funds deposited to your account may not be  immediately available. If you have any questions regarding the availability of funds from your  deposit, please call us at (978) 534-0240.

What this means for you

Members of LEFCU can now conduct their everyday banking transactions at more than  5,000 CO-OP Shared Branches nationwide, and on weekends!  So, even if you live or work  out of our area, are away on vacation, or can only do your bankin on the weekends, you’re covered!

What you need to conduct a Shared Branching transaction:

  • Name of your credit union
  • Your 9-Digit Account number: (Statement Account number 1/1234.0 = 010012340)
  • Valid Federal or State ID such as a valid State-Issued Driver’s License or ID Card, a valid US Military ID, or a valid Passport
  • You might also be asked to provide personal information like the last four digits of your Social Security Number or the address on your account.
